Justo Gonzalez Lot Santa Emilia

We met the Café de Don Justo team at SCA EXPO in Portland this year and fell in love with their coffees for its natural sweetness. The two lots we sourced specifically with the feelings we crave during the Fall season: Warm, cozy and inviting. Our experience with each variety made us nostalgic for some of our favorite treats: Honey Nut Cheerios (Pacamara) & Caramel Apples (SL-28). 

About The Farm
Located on the eastern side of El Salvador in the Tecapa-Chinameca region, coffees grown in this region are surrounded by active volcanos and a volcanic sulphur lake that is known for its beautiful turquoise color. The rich volcanic soil and natural microclimate create great conditions for growing high quality varieties. 

About The Variety
Pacamara is the country's variety which was planted at their farms since it was released by the Salvadoran Coffee Institute. Justo discovered in this variety incredible qualities, capable of satisfying the most refined tastes. The team has experimented with Honey and Natural, and found different but high-quality characteristics in both processes.
